On the eve of my birthday, at 11.45pm to be exact, my husband sent me a text via SMS to wish me. And his text reads:
Happy birthday my darling. Love you very much. Sorry can't buy you any present. Owe you a lambo ok..He he. Love you and Happy birthday.
Now, money can't buy love but I'm contented for all the thoughtful things he has done for me. A loving and caring husband he is. We are still dry so this time we celebrate my birthday on a very moderate scale, nothing fancy but I was happy. We had durian on the eve of my birthday and went out for a simple dinner of fried hokkien mee with steam ginger fish.
Back to the message, he mentioned a lambo? Lamborghini Murcielago or a Reventon is our dream car. Ok, it is my dream car. He likes a Gallardo after seeing one in S'pore and besides, it is more affordable than a Murchielago. The Lamborghini Murchielago is a car I can only dream of owning but not actually buying one.Even if I were filthy rich, I don't think I will get one beacuse it is super super expensive and a super fast car like this is not easy to keep. A car like Lambo is high maintenance which translates into escalating bills. Aside from the high cost of repair, you'll have to think of your safety. Driving a super expensive car like will only attract robbers to prey on you. Then comes the parking problem; you have to park your car at vallet parking lots because it is safer and for a lousy driver like me, I can never get the car past narrow alley without getting scratch or inflicted with a dent, more so with a car that has a wide body. So I'll pass the idea of owning one. Perhaps, perhaps.
